Red Shoe KREWE gives high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to make a difference for families while building leadership skills, forming new friendships, and serving their community.
Throughout the year, KREWE members work together to plan activities and special experiences for families staying at Ronald McDonald House Mobile. Members also take a leading role in planning and hosting The Bunny Hop, an annual community-wide Easter celebration benefiting the House.
Being part of Red Shoe KREWE is more than completing volunteer hours. Members take on real responsibilities, contribute their ideas and talents, and see firsthand the impact they can have on families who have traveled to Mobile for their child’s medical care.
Membership is open to high school juniors and seniors who are ready to get involved, work as a team, and make a meaningful commitment to serving others. In return, KREWE members gain valuable leadership experience, confidence, and the satisfaction of knowing their time is helping make difficult days a little brighter for families.
