Support our families with home-cooked meals.
Volunteering for our Taste of Hope program is probably the easiest and most rewarding way to support Ronald McDonald House Mobile. Not only are you providing families with a meal, but you will be caring for their well-being and easing the burdens of those with a hospitalized child.
Who can participate?
Taste of Hope groups may include a maximum of twelve (12) volunteers. Everyone who comes with your group will count toward this total and must be there to actively participate. This is a group activity, so if you need extra sous chefs, you might consider your family, friends, business, or community circles. Please discuss with staff if you have more than 12 volunteers
Middle school and high school groups must be accompanied by a teacher or parent for their entire visit.
Volunteers must be completely illness/symptom free (cold, flu, fever, stomach virus, etc. ) for at least 5 days prior to volunteering.
Volunteers must wear gloves (provided by Ronald McDonald House Mobile) and hair ties if applicable. Additional health practices during participation will include frequent hand washing and changing gloves, and no face, hair, or phone touching.
