Our Volunteers truly help to make Ronald McDonald House and Family Rooms a “home away from home” for every guest, family member and visitor that has ever had any experience with our House.
Their dependability and willingness to contribute their time and care helps to create a safe and welcoming environment where families can stay together when they need it the most. Our volunteers know the House inside and out and approach their volunteerism with full commitment and have the knowledge of what the House really means to everyone involved. Learn about how to access or support Ronald McDonald Family Rooms at USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital
Ronald McDonald Family Rooms opened in January 2014 and are an extension of Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile, Alabama; a bit of home within the walls of USA Children’s and Women’s Hospital. The Family Rooms are located on the third and fourth floors of the new hospital tower and serve as a place of peaceful respite and possess a warm and friendly atmosphere for families to use while remaining merely steps away from their child’s bedside.

When you make monthly contributions to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mobile, you are keeping families close while their child receives life-saving medical care. Smaller amounts given monthly add up to larger amounts annually.
Your monthly support ensures families are able to “come home” to the House that is just steps away from where their child is being treated. Here, they find a comfortable guestroom, hot meals, and the support of other families who share their same hopes and fears.
