DIY Fundraisers
DIY (Do It Yourself) Fundraisers are a great way to bring awareness to our mission of keeping families close. Whether you host a large-scale event, collect wish list items or host a fundraiser at your office, every donation, no matter the size, will make a difference in the lives of the families we serve.
Hosting a fundraiser is also a great way to connect with your community, bond with your co-workers or get more involved at school. DIY Fundraisers can be as simple as bake sales and neighborhood yard sales, or bigger events like fun runs, bike rides, or pickleball or golf tournaments.

How we can help
• Advice and suggestions on event planning, as time allows.
• Approval of the use of RMHC of Mobile name, logo, and images.
• RMHC of Mobile promotional materials.
• RMHC of Mobile event banners.
• Acknowledgement and tax receipts for contributions made payable to RMHC of Mobile
• RMHC of Mobile will make our best efforts to have a representative present if requested.
What we cannot provide:
• Assistance in soliciting donations, handling mailings, attending committee meetings, recruiting attendees, and collecting monies.
• RMHC of Mobile’s tax‐exemption number for making any purchases related to your event.
• Access to donor lists or contacts.
• Responsibility of any nature or kind associated directly or indirectly with the event, including, but not
limited to, expenses, purchases, insurance or liability coverage.
